You wake up, wondering where your husband is, go downstairs to find out. While walking down the stairs, you see the cat chewing on the drumstick. You faint, fall down the stairs and break your arm.

I am so sorry to hear this. I never told Antoinette this but in her picture she is the splitting image of my aunt, Toni. I wish I had told her this. She was so pretty. I aquired the history below. I don;t have much to add to this post except I hurt and have sad days. But I also have days of great happiness and joy. Those days are when I hear someone here has succeeded in entering remission, have a clear scan or are celebrating a new birth. I have days when I cry cuz I miss Daddy so much that I hate to hear the sound of my Mom's voice becasue she sounds like she is in pain too and I don;t have the strength to pull her up outta the crap that is our grieve. Basically Cancer robbed me of my daddy. Just has it has robbed carleen of her Keith and Malou of her Thomas. So many of us have suffered.

Oh Lori! Big hugs to you and am sending prayers of strength and love to you during the 2 weeks you are taking off to send with your precious momma. She is truly amazing and you both deserve all the time to love one another.

Daddy's headstone was put up this week. I haven't seen it ( living too far away) and am not sure I want to either. Tree, here;s a hug as you mark this anniversary. Eppie

Keep spreading the word, Jen. It is the good work. People should know about this suffering. It hurts like hell to have cancer and to love someone with cancer. It's always a good time to give up the smokes, IMHO. Eppie

My dad took megace. If that is the med you are referring to ( I 'm not sure). It can help out lots but our onc was very very reserved about prescribing it since dad had blood clots and this med is shown to cause an increase in those. I hope it helps your hubs.
