    Im so sorry to hear about your Mom. It stinks that she has noone closer nearby for support. If I were you I would call and call and call.... This is a very very bumpy road with MANY ups and downs and she will need you. Welcome to the board, and if you have any questions, or need anything... feel free to post it up! We will all be here for you. I look forward to seeing your posts.

    Hopin and praying that everything is ok. Try and not think about it (impossible i know :? ) but 6 months is a long way away, and you dont want to spend every waking moment waiting around for info. I hope everything is fine...im sure it will be.

    Bills are certainly a pain in the youknowwhat. My dads insurance just notified him and said that he wasnt covered. When he called, they told him that someone from his work put down that he just wasnt working, not under disability, so now its a LONG line of paperwork that has to be fixed. Hassles, Hassles, Hassles. I hope things get straightened out soon.

    As far as the news about the Congressman... Great!

    I didnt even get a reply when I wrote the senator! I dont know why.

    Im so sorry that your mom is so down. Even if there isnt a cure for her right now, you never know what the future holds. Try and cheer her up as best you can. I think her friend and sister coming will help alot. Maybe doing something somewhat "normal" might work. I dont know alot about this, but Id be willing to try anything. I hope things get better over there

    Sounds like your doing everything right to me. Your mom probably is doing fine with the treatment. It may stay that way, or it may get worse. I think you will be able to tell if shes acting fine if shes not. She probably just wont be "being herself". Keep up the good work with your Mom, Im sure your helping her more than you know.

    Mom freaked out today

    My dad had a panic attack while waiting to go in to see the dr. right before going in for surgery. I know he said it was a very scary thing, and I feel so sad that your mom is going through this. Reassure her that this too shall pass, and she will be okay. I know it dosent sound like much, but being there for your mom is the best thing that you can do.
