As unpleasant as the journey was, he always knew you were there and that had to bring him considerable comfort. I am sorry his passing wasent more peaceful though. You are a strong woman and wonderful wife. I was touched by you're post. I had read it earlier but really did not know what to say to you. I am sure it helped you to share it and it helped us to journey along with you. I am praying for strength and comfort for you until you and Bill reunite again. But you helped your husband so much...such a gesture of love that I know he was aware of. You made it possible for your husband to die at home, which he wanted.
