crystleshoe Posted January 19, 2007 Share Posted January 19, 2007 well I made it through the day and when i thought that i could no longer manage to breath or stand my husband and kids were there to help. My dad was so strong that I am so in awe of him. The amount of people who showed up for both the wake and funeral amazes me and it is good to know that my mom has touched so many lives and was so loved. I will forever miss my mom but I know that she is in heaven watching over us. I will fight lung cancer for the rest of my life in the hopes that every day will bring us closer to a cure. For me, after my mom's celebraton of life and all of the drama settled down is when I really started to think and realize she was gone. I will keep you in my prayers. It is just so damn hard...
