wondermom Posted February 18, 2007 Share Posted February 18, 2007 My Dad took my mom to the hospital this afternoon because she started to see what she described as ceiling fans out of the corners of her eyes. She said she got real weak and lightheaded. She had 15 sessions of whole brain radiation back in December and is sceduled for an MRI March 5th so I am thinking that she will go in tomorrow and have it done early. She just saw her family doctor today not her oncologist. He thought she may have just overdone it but I am so nervous that the tumors are causing this sensation for her. She feels okay now. She said she still feels slightly off but has her strength back. I was really hoping the mets would be gone! She has had 4 session of chemo too. Two of Carbo/Taxol and Two of Carbo/Taxotere. Not sure if that would cause that dizzy sensation. She said she was afraid she was going to have a seizure. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

J.C. Posted February 20, 2007 Share Posted February 20, 2007 Try to have your Mom strech and slowly start to move after she is quiet for a while.
