CrEveryday e all get up and go to work whether outside the home or in the home. Even us retired folks work ometimes i think harder than before. We all like that coffee break and these days a cup of coffee can cost three dollars.Well let us all pick a start date and put three dollars a day away for five days.My math sys that is $15.00. At the end of the week make out a check and send out to this site to let those who have done such a great job that benefits us all use where it would be best served. Hi Everyone-----I had to bring my ct. scans to my pulmonary doc. last week . There were some things that he wanted to see more of i guess he ordered a pet scan for Jun 8th.(have to wait till then as medicare will only pay for one pet a year and that will be my years date) and was wondering if any of you have looked at some of yours and to explain what a tumor looks like-black whte or what. Tried to make out mine one lung is black with some white lines going through the other lung has only a littleblack ontop and bottom the whole center is completely white. Wondering if that is the tumor? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks Carlton

Hi Cheryl---You sure have been through a lot in a years time. I admire you for putting that piece of toast on a plate without buttering it up. Was talking to a neighbor yesterday he asked how i was doing after telling him some of what i have been going through his reply was my goodness what some people will do to stay alive. I came indoors and headedfor the bathroom literly made me sick. So many people just assume if you have cancer you should just lie down and die just get it over with. i guess they forgot we are human and have feelings. I wish i had a printer so i could print out your post and give it to some of these jurks. sorry about the word. I wish for you many more years of a very full and satisfying life. I do not have prescription insurance was given one for Iressa yesterday first time for it when i went to pick it up almost had a heart attack.For 30 pills the cost $1'900.00. Can't see how i could afford to stay with this med. Any ideas or thoughts on this much appreciated. Thanks Carlton

Hi Everyone-- Just received a call form the onc. nurse about last weeks scan. She wants me in the office tomorrow to discuss things. She did not want to talk on the phone but i made her tell me some of what was written. Well the tumor is back inthe liver i think she said it was 1.25 centimeters. And there is worsoning of the left lung where tumor is. She will discuss options with the onc. before my appt. tomorrow and then let me know what will be advised she did not sound to up about anything. Welli guess it will be a very long nite. Have so many things to think about .Prayers Please. just can't stop crying did not expect this. Thanks to you all, Carlton

H TAnne Sorry you are uncomfortable with the pain know how you feel but the important thing is it is working for you. Hope the meds will help you so you can get some good sleep. i know how it feels not to be able to find a spot thats comfortable and be able to get some good sleep, you take care and pleasant dreams. Hi Everyone Have been on a chemo break for a bit now but had to go for a bone scan due to a lot of rib pain. Onc just called and it was negative. Great News but still have the pain. Will now do a chest and abdomen scan and am hoping for the best call to get. Carlton

Hi Tanne Sorry you have so much pain i know when i had my lung drained that was a releif but i also had the pain so i know where your coming from but trust me you will feel better in a few days. Glad you posted to let us know about this procedure. you take care and try to relax. Carlton
