    Leg Cramps

My husband has been a diabetic since the age of three. he takes potassium every day and this helps him avoid leg cramps as well as other muscle aches. If he does not take potassium his legs cramp up and he insulin reactions are more severe. Sure praying you will find a solution for the leg cramps. pammie

  11. Statistics will not define us. that is one of the fight themes for our family. I have already beat the statistics by staying alive for a year from diagnosis for maliganant plueral effusion with mets to the pericardium. you are right, Lorrie, that your husband needs to stay positive and determined. Sounds like he has a great person (you) to help him out. We are all waiting and praying for a cure but we do not wait without action. Stay in there with the encouragement. praying for you both pammie

  16. A year ago on June 26, I found out I had a malignant plueral effusion in my left lung, IIIB. They found at that time that there had already been mets to the pericardium. By the grace and mercy of God working through whatever He has seen fit to use, I am celebrating another year of life. What a challenging year it has been and a year of growing for me and my family. We all realize that I have no promise of tomorrow, but do any of us? I am ready to meet Jesus, my Lord and Savior. I do hope that I am able to stay around for many more years so when my children have children I can enjoy those precious souls. One thing that we have learned this past year is to enjoy and treasure each second, each minute, each day, each week. We laugh at lots of stuff and don't worry about things anymore. God has created an intricate, complex physical body. I cannot even imagine what the spiritual world is going to be like since I already enjoy life. It will be great. I enjoy this web site and am thankful for all of you who post here. It is always good to share heartache and good news. I am a survivor so celebrate for me with a prayer of thanksgiving for the past year. pammie

  20. Perhaps this is your body's natural way of trying to get rid of dead cancer cells or purifying itself of chemical toxins. Protocell, a natural alternative, causes large amounts of fluid to be excreted from the body. continuing in prayer for you pammie
  21. Hey Doug, God in His infinite wisdome has seen fit to bless you with a positive outlook and a humorous outlook. My husband has called me his little motor boat but so far has not decribed me as an exploding oil well. I take a product called immunasist which has by God's grace worked with the Iressa to get the tumor markers into the normal range. If I do happen to get worse I will start on the paw paw treatment. The chemo did nothing to shrink my cancer so I am not big on the chemical stuff they pump into me. God can use any situation and any circumstance for His glory. Will be praying for you and your family in this fight. Continue to tap into the immeasurable power of the Almighty God. pammie

  23. Keep on being bullheaded about the cancer Sue. Fighting it with a positive attitude is of great importance. Love the pic of the grandkids. praying for you pammie
  24. I did not have any symptoms of cancer except fatigue until two weeks before the xray found the fluid in my lung. I was always tired and since I have MS thought that was the reason. Very common to have no symptoms until the cancer is fairly advanced. praying for you all pammie
  25. Praying this treatment will cure you Beth. pammie
