    Dear Nancy, I am so sorry to hear that Mike has passed on. But I still am thankful he made it to the wedding and was able to dance with your daughter. Remember all the good and the blessings he brought into your life. Lots of prayers for you and family. pammie

  5. There are some alternative supplements. I sent them on an earlier posting on this site. you will be able to find some websites to check out. Do a word search for alternative on the forum and it will get you there. praying for your mom. pammie

  12. Gina, last year in June i had the pleural effusion. They did the talc when they put the drainage tube in my left lung. I have had no fluid in my lung since then. It wasn't painful for me but I was sedated after having an anphylactic shock to zosyn. My left lung hurts some when I take a deep breath but doesn't usually bother me at all. This procedure is often very effective in eliminating pleural effusion. praying it will work for you also. pammie

A great blessing for you and a the rest of those fighting cancer. Positive results in even one person gives us more determination to resist the inroads of cancer.   18. Keep hunting all the information you can and ask the doctor very specific questions and "why" about the things you don't understand. praying for you pammie

  23. Please ask the docs questions. Being informed is the best way to fight this disease. Ask them specifically what your brothers prognosis is and why they are doing the treatments they use. will you you in our prayers. pammie

  25. Mike can get better. There is always someone who has seemed very low and then they bounce back. Praying for him to get better quickly and continuing recupperation. pammie
