    feeling dizzy

Does anyone have dizzy spells? I woke up Saturday morning feeling really dizzy. I thought it may have been caused by the wine I drank the night before, but it continued all day. Sunday morning I woke up and the dizziness was still there but not as bad as the day before. Today I have the dizzy spells off and on but I did come to work. I have a doctors appointment this afternoon. So of course I'm thinking brain tumor. Could this be a symptom of mets to the brain? I will probably have to have the lump found in the breast biopsyed (sp) (my onc will see th films of that today), now I am very nervous about the dizziness. BJ

  6. Hi Jen, If you were not nervous, scared, worried, or upset you would not be human. And waiting is just plain tough! LC is a scary thing, but it can be beat! I know everything you read can also scare the cr*p out of you, but you also have to know there are long term survivors and everything you read does not have to apply to you. So until I'm told differently I'm going to be in that percentage of survivors and I want you to join me! So please try to keep your chin up and continue to fight! ((((hugs)))) BJ
  7. Kelly, Please accept my condolences. I will pray that God gives you the strength to see you through. BJ

  9. Jen, Please try not to let it get it down. I know that's easier said that done, but remember this can be beat IF (and thats a BIG IF) it turns out the be anything. Please just try to take it one day at a time. BJ

    wondering

Hi Bert, I think it all starts with a chest x-ray. My cancer was also found by accident. I went in for a physical and because I was a smoker I got a chest x-ray and the rest is history. I had no symptoms and there was no family history of lung cancer. BJ

  23. Hello and Welcome! Being scared is normal and for me it never goes completely away, but as time passes It gets easier. I'm sure someone who has had your experience will reply back to you. I just wanted to let you know that your not alone, and you can learn much from this board. This is a good group of people. Also try drinking Boost or Ensure. At least you will get some nutritional value from them. BJ
  24. Hi Joni, I was diagnosed with sclc in late aug03. I had 6 months of chemo. My most resent scan showed a small tumor on the adrinal gland above the left kidney. Doc thinks its benign since it did not light up on my last PET scan, so we will watch it for growth. I feel fine and continue to work full time. BJ
  25. There is nothing like a vacation to refresh and bring a family back together! Have a goood time!!!! BJ
