ginnyde
Ry, I am going to Wash DC for the weekend to see the WWII monument. But I have to tell you a funny story too! My mother had a friend whose name was pronounced Whyvonney. Yep, it was Yvonne, but her mother had read it in a book and thought it was pronounced very phonetically and thought it was beautiful. Debi
Oh good God, pack a lunch if you go to the Lincoln Memorial. I'll never forget when I visited DC a couple years back, I was so excited that I was going to see the Lincoln Memorial. And then I saw the STAIRS!!! Holy crap!! It took me like 2 days to get to the top. Anyway, enjoy your weekend!!!
Nushka
Have fun Ginny. Last time I went to DC I was a young single gal on a company trip. There were about 100 ppl from my company and only two of us were women. We had a great time. Nina
