Friendly Reminder:

Just a reminder that FLU Season is upon us.

Make sure you ALL get your Flu Shots, and for LC Survivors, make sure you had your Pneumonia Shots.

Pnemonia shots last for 5 years and are definetly worth getting!

Mom gets both. We were told to wait until October, and lo and behold here it is! Thanks for the reminder!

The Pneumo vaccine is given once every 5 years, and I have mine without fail.

According to the recommendations of the CDC those with Lung Cancer, their caregivers and people living with them, should have their Flu Vaccines done No later than early October, but actually in September if possible. I had my Flu Shot the third week of September.

I've never heard of pneumonia shots. Wonder if they are available in Holland. I will ask the doc. Thanks for the reminder.

Yes you can get the Flu shot while undergoing Chemo...I have. Don't know about the pneumonia.
