melindasue37 Posted November 15, 2005 Share Posted November 15, 2005 Mornin' all My Mom went for her second round of avastin/taxotere yesterday. She was having back pain before her first treatment and she told me last night that the pain has disappeared. That was wonderful news...but not even all of it. She has gained FIVE pounds the last few weeks. Her hopes are up and the fightin' gloves are back on...... We are praying that the side effects will be minimal and that she will be feeling even better for Thanksgiving. It will be the first time in years since all of us kids have been together at the same time. There always seems to be ONE of us missing. I'm SO looking forward to it!!!
