Ry Posted December 9, 2005 Share Posted December 9, 2005 Amie~ I hope you have some answers soon. Tarceva really thins the blood so when it is combined with a blood thinner it is not a good thing. John had issues with bleeding in the lungs when he first went on Tarceva. They discontinued the Cumadin and he hasn't had it again. If he cuts himself shaving it takes forever for the bleeding to stop. Maybe the answer for your mom is to keep the Tarceva and nix the cumadin? I hope she's home soon. Good luck.
