Hi Everyone

I think it's good news. Let me quote the bottom line: Stable appearancs in the chest. Small cluster of left para aortic nodes is slightly more prominent.

We are having problems with the British NHS. We are asking them to pay for tarceva which they are very relunctant to do. If there is any sign of progression they have a get out so I am wondering if they are looking for trouble. Meanwhile Barry feels very fit and healthy and leading a normal existance.

Best wishes to you all> I am thinking of you.

Hi Jennie,

This does sound like encouraging news. I hate to hear about the NHS though. We lived in London for a while so I've a little experience with it, of course not to your guys' degree though.

Have you tried contacting the drug manufacturer of Tarceva? If it is prescribed and a patient can not pay for a potentially life-saving drug, many drug companies will subsidize a drug and provide it free of charge with the right paperwork. It's worth calling them and checking into it.

I know they do it in the states.

My prayers for you both continue. Keep us updated.

That sounds like good news to me!!!!

Can't believe you have to pay for Tarceva though, surely there must be a way around that. Very unfair.

All the best for continued success,

Sharon
