Roger C Posted October 22, 2007 Share Posted October 22, 2007 I want to thank all of you for the support, prayers, good thoughts, positive vibes and anything else you all have sent my way. Today, I met with my oncologist. He was reading over my scans and underlining areas on the paper. Kind of got me a little nervous. When he was done, he looked at me and said, "Your Lung is healing fine" You are still in "REMISSION". Isn't that word a "GEM". He also talked about the kidney tumors, but he said he wasn't a urologist and would let my urologist explain the reports to me. On the positive side, he did say that both of the tumors in each kidney had shrunk and that he was pleased with that. I'll see my urologist next Wednesday. Next scans in three months. If the kidney tumors continue to shrink, that is cool, but keep in mind that they can be killed off with cyberknife, I think, if they stop responding to treatment.
