Ry
A couple of weeks ago I needed to search for an old post of mine. As I kept going back in time I kept seeing all these names of members that are gone. Just gone. People that were regular with posting and just disappered. Where are they? I know right now I am wondering about David W and many people are looking for Francine (bluebayou). So I am asking once again. Please let us know how you are. Find a buddy on here to keep in touch with or have a family member update us. I am still accepting those phone numbers of anyone brave enough to share with me. Bonnie
Ry..I think that is a wonderful idea. While working either at the medical center or at home I will find myself wondering how someone is and thinking its been quite a long while since they have posted. You know we have become one rather large family and when someone is absent for a while you get worried! Not like anyone might take a vacation or even have computer problems!! Thanks again for the idea. Bonnie and Howard
norme
That is so funny, I did the same thing yesterday or the day before, not sure which but I was looking for someone and saw were a member lived here in Cinti which is just a jump across the river. I place a message on here last post back in Aug but no answer as yet. Some of you posted after me. I sure hope she if fine.
kimblanchard
Ry You must have read my mind, there are quite a few that I have been thinking of that haven't posted for a long time and I wonder what has become of them. Deanna W. whose mom has SCLC hasn't posted for a long time, also Jenny who also has SCLC and was in remission has been absent for months. You just wonder if they are okay. I hope they are fine and just too busy with life, but you worry Bess B
luvmydog2
I too have been wondering about a lot of folks. I do a lot of reading and I do post every now and then but everyone is in my thoughts daily. I can understand not giving out your address on the net. There are a lot of loonies out there. There has to be a way to do this tho. A thought I had was can Rick send out an actual e-mail to try to update the list and see who is still with us. Maybe put some sort of wreath by their name on the memberlist. Sorry Rick...lol...thought you might need something to do. Anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks Ry for thinking about the situation. Bruce

karen335
Ry, Good idea! I noticed that Carleen hasn't posted since January 5th and has not been on the chat. I sent her a PM today in hopes that she will answer. I hope that her and Keith are ok. I see that Francine finally answered. That was a frightening situation. Glad she is ok... Any ideas as to what we should all do to let each other know how we are doing... Especially if we get sick and can't be on the board. Thanks and Gos Bless Karen
ginnyde
Ry, I often think about the people that have disappeared from this site. Hopefully, they are doing well and may not want to think about LC for awhile. What I think each of use should do, in addition to sending you our phone numbers, is to teach someone else in our family or circle of friends how to post on here. That way if for some reason (hopefully a good reason) one of our dear friends is among the land of 'no post for awhile' - the designated poster can update us. My daughter called just now and I told here I want her to learn how to do this. Ginny
Ry
Yes, lots are missing that's for sure. Norme, cough up that phone number girl. Bruce, if your dogs can't call for you I need your number also, and I'm only a little looney. You're safe really. Rich, yes I am glad we traded numbers too. Always love to talk to you. The way we're burning up the phone lines you better just send me your entire utility bill. Karen, find a buddy (how about Debi?) or cough up the number. Ginny, excellent idea. Guest
Okay Ry, if I give you my number you must promise to give it to the guy that called me about 20 years ago and did deep breathing and low whispers. To that man all I could say was PLEASE because I was being polite in wanting him to speak louder so I could hear him. I suppose he thought he had a real live one. When he did speak louder I dropped the phone and broke it. I have been trying to find him all this time to get him to buy me a new phone. Wait! Come to think of it, Debi wouldn't drop the phone, so I got you now.

kimblanchard
Ry, You must be a mind reader or you read my post earlier today (which I can't find). I had wondered about s_meksvank. The last post I saw from him/her said he was having a ct scan in Nov. I have sent an e-mail but no response.

Ry
Ok Norme don't make me hurt you for that number. I know you said you sent it, but I don't have it. Bruce, you too, cough it up. They're cute dogs but I really doubt they dial a phone. T- Bone, you are EXEMPT from the pact as you have plenty of family that can find their way here. On a side note, I'll be out of town Feb 12-17th nobody disappear during that time. Rochelle
