gail
Tomorrow will be two years since my lung cancer surgery. I went to sleep that day and woke up to be told "good news, it's lung cancer". It has been quite a circus, but I know I've come out a better person for it. My plan for tomorrow? I'm getting my first facial, followed by a pedicure. gail
I told them at the salon exactly why I was there. I never, never, never treated myself before the lung cancer. I highly recommend it to every one of you---caretakers or survivors. I know my stress has dropped since the massages, and I feel great. I am actually very happy today. On the year anniversary of my first breast cancer, I was miserable and depressed. Seize the day!!!!

Carleen
Gail, Congratulations Sounds to me like a perfect way to celebrate. I haven't had a massage or pedicure in years, and now I think is when I could use one the most. I think you've talked me into one too. JudyB
I received a gift of a Day at Miraval (1 of the best spas in the world) from my friends & husband on my 60th birthday Oct, 01. 4 days later I was diagnosed w/LC. What with all the treatrments, I didn't get to do my "Day" until July 5!. Had pedicure, sea wrap, stone massage, facial and more. Now I want to go every month!!!!! What a treat it was!! I would recommend it to everyone.
