DollyPardonMe
Yesterday I had to take my husband to emergency. He was diagnosed with a tumor on the spine and it was pressing against his spinal cord. They admitted him and did emergency radiation and will also call the radiation people in on Sat & Sun to try to get this shrink as soon as possible before it does any further damage to this spinal cord. He could barely walk and was so weak getting sick from the pain meds. I will tell you all he looked a lot better last night when I left of hospital then he did this morning when I took him in. One positive thing was he eat over 1/2 of his dinner. They have him hooked up to a morphine pump and it is managing his pain very well. I will keep you posted. He will remain in the hospital until at least Monday or until they regulate his pain meds.

Margaret
Noone wants to be in the hospital, but if this is the solution to the pain then I just hope it is a short, productiive stay. Be sure to take care of yourself also. Prayers for strength and healing. Margaret
Terry
My husband was in terrible pain for a tumor on the spine. He had one week of radiation and he is now completely pain free! It does take a few weeks to take affect. You are on the right track. Terry

mhutch1366
I am glad your husband's pain is under control for the moment and that he is able to eat. They should be able to come up with a pain management plan that is effective!! and that's a lot of the battle. XOXOXOXOX Prayers always, MaryAnn
