kimblanchard Posted September 20, 2004 Posted September 20, 2004 We were at the supermarket, and I told Katie she could get a treat while we were shopping. So we came to the the marshmallows, and Katie grabbed some. Since it is about to get cool and hot chocolate weather (yeah right, I am in San Antonio), I thought okay. A little later on we passed the cookies, and she asked if she could have the cookies for a treat. So I said okay and she got a funny look and put them into the basket. A couple of aisles later, I had turned around to get something back, and Katie was whispering to the marshmallows: "If nobody says anything, we won't have to put you back." Who'da thunk it? My daughter conspiring with marshmallows. Curtis Quote

TeeTaa Posted September 21, 2004 Posted September 21, 2004 And I'd be willing to bet you didn't put them back, did you? How on earth could you deny such a precious child of her treasured marshmallows and cookies? Thanks for sharing - TeeTaa Quote
Fay A. Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 Curtis, I sure hope you are keeping a journal about Katie and you. She's going to love reading the things you write about her. And this is the stuff that will keep you sane during her teenage years..... Quote
teresag Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 That is a great story! I have a fond memory of my niece (now 20) talking to the giant Santa statue in town when she was about 5. - Teresa Quote
