Thank you all soooo much for your thoughts and prayers and listening. My daughter, Nicoles white cells are back up within range. 4.5. However she is still anemic after taking 2 Iron fe pills for a month now. He is following up with her in a month but said if she gets anymore fatigued or anything changes to get her right back in. He said the diagnosis would be viral suppression acute neutropenia. He seemed ALOT more concerned that we also have two family members with LUPUS in our family. Sooo... Things are good right now and I am so GRATEFUL. Oh and I guess I can breath now. Thank you all so much for taking your time to listen.

Well going back to dr tomorrow. I alm,ost called today to get results but I couldn't. I am just terrified, especially since she had to go to school late today cause I couldn't even get her up, after sleeping 9 hours she slept 2 more and this is getting to be a regular thing. Her fatigue is getting REAL bad. PLEASE PRAY for good news. And thanks for letting me cvent THANKS

Thinking of Ned and family and holding them all firmly in prayers. I hate it that it always seems that ot and pt come at all the wrong times. I REALLY hope they time it better this week and see that Ned needs to continue.

Still going for more blood tests today(4th Round in 1 1/2 wks), white cell count hasn't dropped but still hasn't raised. Meeting with Doc on Wed and if things are not improving I am calling a hematologist. Please continue prayers. Thank you all

My daughter has been sick for several weeks on and off got her blood test results which are White cell count was 2.7 , normal 4.0-11, hemoglobin is 11.3, normal 11.7-15.7, MCH 25 normal (27-32,), MCHC 30 normal(32-36), RDW 20.7 normal 11-14.5. Anyone know anything about this stuff??? She had this test done Monday and he repeated today. I'm just worried sick as on top of LC we also have a history of 2 different blood cancers. Appreciate any input.

Please say a prayer for my daughter Nicole. She has been sick with severe flu like symptoms on and off over the last 2 months. She went for her yearly check up 2 weeks ago and it was found that she was quite anemic. Started her on iron fe. This week she got very sick again. Took her in and they sent her for bloodwork yesterday and the doc just called me at 8:30 at night to tell me her white cell count is very low and further tests are needed tomorrow. On top of the lung cancer in my family we have also had 2 immediate family members with blood cancers,lymphoma and multiple myeloma. My mind is already racing with crazy thoughts. PLEASE just pray that this will all turn out OK. and Thanks for letting me vent.

Hi Ronnie, I think it's great you honored Pat by helping others. I held onto all my moms clothes for several years before I realized they were just items and the important things were my memories and the few items that helped preserve them. Don't let anyone tell you what to do, it's whatever is right for you and WHEN it's right for you.

Very cold and dreary here in CT. Snow in spring is our April Fools joke... Annette, I don't have personal experience with Neds situation but my mom was in the hosp with the same situation given 3 hours to live when things turned around and she came thru it. I am keeping that positive thought for Ned.

Hi Frank, Glad to see you are gonna go and advocate for yourself. I was on that watch and see thing for 5 yrs and luckily I am no longer watching and waiting, it was nothing... But I DO understand the worrying and am sorry you have to go thru it at all. Hope you are able to enjoy your family this weekend.

I really get it Nick, I found out I ws pregnant the same week my mom was diagnosed and have always felt that entwinement with my daughter and my mom. My daughter was 3 when my mom died and now she's about to turn 18 and graduate high school and it has really had me thinking about my mom alot and how she would have loved to be here for all of this. I really believe it is a mourning for the relationship that could/should have been... between a grandmother and her granddaughter. Happy Birthday to Sophie, You are a wonderful father and person and your mom is watching proudly.

Da--!!! I am so saddened by this news. I feel so sad for her family especially her young kids and right before the holidays. Lillian fought so hard and was such an inspiration and source of support. She will be missed.

Hi Jassen, So glad you chose to seek out support. It is not easy being a caregiver and this group can help you tremendously. In my moms experience with the brain mets radiation helped her symptoms of seizures, vision and confusion after about 7-8 weeks. I know how hard these symptoms are to deal with and feel like your mom is just falling apart. Please don't listen to any statistics as each person is an individual and noone can say when our time is up. Remember to take care of yourself thru all of this. You are NOT alone. You WILL have all the support you need here. Feel free to ask questions or just vent. The anger ,tears,rage, that is all normal as it should be. This is not fair to you or your mom and we understand that.
