Tina, I am sorry this is late as I was away for 3 weeks and just read this obit. I am so so sorry for the loss of your mom. You certainly had enough heart ache in your life with this disease. You seem to have quite a large family and please take comfort with each other. You were a wonderful daughter who was right by her side. She was very lucky to have you as you were to have her. Amy I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your beautiful Suki... I know how hard this is but she will always live on in that special place we have in our hearts just for moms. I am so glad you and her love ones were all with her during her final breath. Thinking of you and feeling your pain. My deepest sympathies goes out to you and your family. Hi Peggy, When I saw "Sand for Hope" it was such a PLEASURE to hear from you and certainly a wonderful surprise. Looks like all your old friends are coming out of the woodwork here. Yes, as you see there still are some of us oldies (but goodies) still around. I am thrilled about your progress and give you a big hug and for that. Sorry to hear about your son but certainly glad you are doing something about it. This is good for you and I pray someday you boy will do something about addition. Ann they are beautiful. I remember when we both did not have any... and how much we wanted some. Well, at least you are so lucky to have 2 now. My two (children that is ) still have no suggnificant others and they certainly are not getting any younger. You are blessed! They are beautiful. Maryanne

I know how you all feel. Joel has had that monster come back 3 times. This is the first time that 2 CT's are NED. But of course in the back of his mind as well as mine is when will it come back. Hopefully, never! Joel is so positive he just won't let it interfer with his life even though he brings up to me once in a while that he does not know how long he has. So the fear is always there, we just have to live with it and hope for the best. This site has been a lifeline to all of us. At least we understand what the person who has this dreaded disease is going through and what us as caregivers go through. All I can say is one day at a time and live it to its fullest and don't get hung up on what could be. I know that is easier said then done. But we do have a choice of being positive or negative. I'll take positive anyday. We have each other on this site and that is a blessing. Maryanne

Iam a watcher Ann. I never miss it. I love all the acting especially Sally Fields who is definitely Emmy material. I also think that Ryan is going to be trouble, as we do know he does seem to have something for Rebecca. I don't think Tommy will go to jail (which he should) but its a TV show so he probably won't. He always seems to get himself deeper and deeper into trouble. I don't know what to think of Rob Lowe and Kitty. Will be interesting to see what comes out of all of this. I'm hooked as I feel it really is a GREAT show. Maryanne
