Hi Chris, welcome to the board, but so sorry you have to be here. When the end was close for my mom she hardly ate and slept most of the time. The day she died she did wake up a bit more and tried to talk more but unfortunantely it she didn't make any sense and we couldn't make out what she was trying to tell us. Don, I am so very sorry. Not only was Lucie's fighting spirit an inspiration, so was the loving and caring relationship you both shared. She certianly was blessed to have you by her side through all of this. My prayers are with you and your children.

Oh Rochelle I am so sorry to hear this. I think you are right to get the second opinion and I would check out the gamma knife. I will continue to keep your mom in my prayers.
