To this day I think my mom would still be here if she had agreed to having a feeding tube. She just was never able to eat enough to get her strength back.

I will say a prayer for him.

Not sure if many use this form of chemo or have problems with mouth sores, but I thought I would share this, it was in the papers doctors column. A woman wrote that her doctor had her eat a Popsicle or chew ice with every IV of Adriamycin. He had found by accident that it prevented mouth sores. After six months of treatment she never had a mouth sore. She ran into an old friend who also was receiving these treatments and was suffering from mouth sores. So she shared her experience and now her friend no longer has mouth sores.

She is just beautiful. I love the red hair!

I have to do the same for my dad, only his problem is he just likes to ignore things. We were in the emergency room for chest pain. He tells the doctor well he takes medicine for high blood pressure. I chime in with and for diabetes, atrial fibrillation, a bleeding ulcer, congestive heart failure, and a blood clot in his leg. When the doctor leaves my dad looks at me and say geeze you make it sound like I'm sick. Sometimes I could just scream.
