Eni, my heart aches for you. You and your family are in my prayers. Your dad situation sounds a lot like my dads. He also had lost his mom, dad and brother and does not have many close friends. At first it was very hard for him and I know ( because he told me) that he hoped his time would come soon. He was ready and just wanted to go be with mom. Now six months later he really seems to be happier and starting to enjoy life again. I still worry about him but he is doing better. I will say special prayers for your dad as I know he will need them. -

So sorry you are going throught this, you are in my prayers. Weeks before mom passed she mostly just stared and slept. But once she quit eating and drinking things went pretty quickly. She also had the death rattle. Mom did not talk much at the end, but the day she died she tried to talk more than she had in weeks. Unfortunately she was never able to get the words out so we couldn't understand her.

Keith surgery should be starting soon. Dear Lord, Please be with Keith and his doctors. Let this surgery give Keith releif from his pain and heal his liver. And please be with Carleen, she needs so much to feel your love and your arm around her holding her up. Bless them both, Amen.
