  19. The Accidental Tourist -- I'd give it an 85%, maybe 90%. However, right before that book, I read Marley and Me. That gets 100% plus!!!! Such a wonderful book for any dog lover. As the reviews said, you laugh aloud during it but have those "hankies" ready near the end. gail p-m
  20. Having had a colonoscopy, I can REALLY appreciate these comments. Guess only "acceptable" ones could be printed. I'm sure the doc has heard others! gail p-m

  22. Hi Yes "limbo-land" is not a fun place to be. However, if it is slow growing, sometimes "watch and wait" makes sense. I have an 82 year old Dad who has been battling this beast for 5 1/2 years now. He can't tolerate very much more chemo so up until recently when he is beginning to feel worse, watch and wait has been the course of action that we've taken and he has had a reasonably good quality of life. Prayers for your mom. gail p-m
  23. Malou-- I was so surprised to see you post of Thomas' passing. I knew he was such a fighter and going back to chemo yet again. Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss. gail p-m
  24. Wow!! Loved that post. I felt as if I were right there with you hearing the nosie of that crowd cheering you on and on and on. I still hear them and I'm sure you do too. They won't stop that noise until NED shows up too. Keep up the fight. You have an amazing spirit. gail p-m
  25. Really hoping for you and the Hatchlings! gail p-m
