Good morning it is a whopping 1 degrees right now. I am warming the car up as I type. I haven't backed into anything lately so things are going good.....LOL Judy KW glad to here you worked out your deposits for your taxes. I do most of my best work when I am lying in bed thinking about everything also...LOL Probably not very healthy for us.. I will keep praying for your sister Dottie. I am glad that you are going to a show tonight, you deserve it. Enjoy yourself. Do try to keep up a little exercise to keep your blood flowing and energy level up. Eric can't tell you how life will be with retirement it all depends what you make of it. You will find some kind of volunteer work or something that you really have a passion for. I wish I could help with that but I am still looking for a good career and I am in hopes I will ever be able to retire...lol. Maybe you could volunteer to come here and help me get my act together...LOL Enjoy your time back at work or at least try to.... Was suppose to go to the gym after work yesterday and never did so I promised myself today. I must keep my promise to myself I feel so much better after I go. I have to say the same as Judy KW, you can not outsmart an alcoholic nor can you force them to stop. They need to hit rock bottom and quit on their on terms. I am going through some issues and trying to deal with life. Sometimes it just seems like it is all going to fall apart. Wish I was there I would help you get your tax stuff together. Just do a little at a time, it will get done. Most of the personal tax schedules including Schedule “A” will not be ready to file with IRS until mid to end of Feb. per the IRS making last minute tax decisions. Judy in MI, wow, what a party, 4000 Sq feet, glad I don’t clean your house...LOL Annette I am with you and Eric on the fishing thing. Never even think about it in the winter, where I live they love Ice Fishing, not for me….. Needs to be warm/sunny out. Also I would never make a good vegetarian; I like my steak and seafood.....Hey I exercised Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Today to long of a day and evening to deal with it…Plus my body is killing me I could barely sit up this morning…lol Bud I am calling you next time I get a flat. Hope you had a flashlight. Congrats on making your miles Ann, I felt the same way getting up for work this morning, it was tough doing it…I also got all my Christmas stuff put away. Happy to here it has warmed up for you. Good morning all, Hope no one is hung-over, watch for those poles. Nothing going on today going to just hang around like Eric is doing. Eric I hope I don't need you to bring that Hoover over today:( Judy we went no where last night and I was feeling kind of blue and went to bed by 10:30 pm. I need to get off my soap box. I pick up my daughter today that should cheer me up. Eric, here we call them bathrooms and if you are out you ask where the restrooms are. So I think we have the same names. Imagine that Bud I like your New Years resolution and yes you are correct if it turns out to be a chore it will never last. Humm hope my exercise lasts. Happy Hogmanay. I was almost afraid to enter the forum wasn’t quite sure what that meant. You do have the weirdest words over there in Scotland. Eric glad to see you and Sally went to the Dr. I will keep my fingers crossed for you. I agree those last minute shoppers drive me nuts. I just got back from the grocery store..lol Eric thank you for the kind words I will keep that in mind, I hope you have a pretty big Hoover. Yes these feelings were here long before the dx and I do need to keep positive. I am starting to learn I need to keep active. I went to the gym this morning and my body is already hurting…lol Going to church on Sunday, hope the walls don’t fall down. Of course I will be going it alone. I am going to also find somewhere to volunteer. I would like to help other cancer survivors or possibly help at the homeless shelter. Judy Kw you are funny. I just love the mental pictures especially Eric in his tutu and Bruce chasing Buffalo…lol. It has warmed up but right now it is 36 degrees and dropping. The warm up is over. Glad to hear the temps have stabilized for you in Florida. Judy in MI It is wonderful what you are doing for others. It takes a special person to be able to give like you do and I commend you on it. Judy in KW I am with you Bruce has to have toasted marshmallows. I will try to avoid anything with a motor, but there is no way I am in shape for cycling...lol I am happy your temps are warming up and that you get together went well. It is warming up to the 50's by Saturday, we will see. Annette you are a trip. Yes I am going to try the exercise thing, and may I say "Again" it always seems to never last....You can keep cheering for me. Hope I can handle it.. Hi Judy we must have posted at the same time. I just copied and pasted here. lol. Good morning. If Bud went last yesterday I am going first today….. I it is 34 degrees and we are having a warm up with rain next two days, just like Eric was saying one day you need a coat the next day a light jacket. Should be fun when it freezes up… I am glad everyone got to enjoy my car hitting pole story. Judy in KW you did not miss that one. I posted it late and appreciate that you take the time to read my late posts thought maybe it wouldn’t get noticed, but also thought it was kind of funny and everyone could have a good laugh at it. Of course Bruce had to throw his barn/shed reminder in there and Eric remembered that also. Yep, drove the mower through the shed in early fall. Ok, ok maybe I should be more careful and yes the terrible headache, from the food of course, did wear off a few dents/fender later. Lol.. All I can do is laugh. I truly enjoyed your crash story Judy MI, had me cracking up last night. I thought I might as well wait until this morning to post instead of late last night. Hey is it too late for me to join the exercise Bud team. I enjoy hearing about his cycling from my couch...lol Been real busy the last two days. Today worked long day and ran around like a nut to get some stuff returned and exchanged at a couple of stores after dinner. I am TIRED. I didnt tell any one this but beings it is late maybe no one will read it. About a week ago went to a x-mas party had to much food as Bruce would say. lol. Anyways the next day I had to go grocery shopping for Christmas dinner stuff. I was feeling really BAD, and backed right into a pole in the parking lot. I didnt even care I just wanted to get home and die.....lol. Need new rear fender. The Pole was cement it was more like a wall...lol Thought I would check in even though it is late. Thank god no more snow here for a while. Eric, Sally sure does have a kind employer. Wish there were more kinder people in this world. I am glad you got that fancy, smancy washer, now see if it is so easy to use.. Judy in KW you are really enjoying that Ipod...I am glad to hear it. Thinking about your sister and I am sure she is in good hands and will be fine. Judy in MI, that cute dog couldnt have lost your glasses...lol Annette, what can I say you crack me up. You are funny. Good Evening everyone, Wow, had a great Christmas but am grateful it is over. I am still stuffed to the gills from all the food we ate. Judy in KW I am sorry to here about your sister Dottie. She will be in my thoughts and prayers. Hopefully all the watching is going to bring good news or at least something like remove and gone.... Sorry to here you tummy is not feeling so well. My daughter as we speak is not feeling well also, but for normal 15 year old reasons...Well you have fun with that Ipod Shuffle, should keep you busy for a while. Judy in MI I love your new avatar....We also have relatives in North Carolina and they said it was like a blizzard at 5 pm last night. What crazy weather. New technology is always enough to give everyone a headache. I am still fiddling around with downloading pictures from my new camera so they save in the correct folders using the correct program. Hi everyone it is currently 26 degrees here, I have got to be out of my mind thinking that is warm. Didn't snow today, but I am going to take the advise and next shoveling session I will dance around with my shovel to some tunes and get a real good workout in. Hey maybe I can have someone video tape it and post on the air. LOL. My neighbors will think I am NUTS. Annette, if you get that snow, you know how to get that exercise now, don’t forget to dance around with that shovel.....lol. I will hope you don't get all that snow... Bud wish I could have posted yesterday regarding piddle around. That was a word I used a lot and I know it had more then one meaning. Kind of like lollygagging around the house. That also has same definition as piddle around. (yes, Bud is urinating around the house, too funny) Figures Eric would pick up on that one. Had fun reading the posts late last night, put a smile on my face, thanks Judy in MI, you sound like you have everything all set to go, congrats for you. I am set also; I hope I don't think of anything else I need to run out for. Sorry to hear about the dog, my lab has a huge growth all of a sudden under his chin and they did a needle aspiration and found no signs of you know what C_____. I just hope it does not keep growing or he will need surgery. Bruce good to hear from you and I do hope you feel better. I am sorry to hear that you have not healed correctly and will need surgery. I will keep you in my thoughts. Maybe during the winter months you will be able to stay put more without doing to many strenuous activities out on the farm. Well enjoy the holiday. Good morning all, Judy KW sounds like you are feeling better (Yeah). Sorry about your water heater ours took a crap about 9 months ago it is gas and the cost was $775 for 40 gal, installed on a Sunday. Hopefully you can just buy it and Stan can install himself. It is currently Friday for me and the temp is 30 degrees, which is a warm up, I will take it...We had a couple more inches again last night and a couple the night before. Bud does the shoveling count as exercise (cycling miles)? I am still coughing today and rather nervous about it. I don't have a full blown cold and you know what always comes to mind:( I am trying not to stress but it is not working... Well doing my X-mas food shopping after work and last minute gifts everyone have a great day. Libby

Hi all, Bud I am just so happy for you. I tried to post at 6:40 a.m. this morning and was kicked off. Ow well I have had worse done to me. lol. Judy I am glad you and Stan are starting to feel better. I hope you continue to feel better on the Tarceva. This is nothing worse then feeling like crap everyday. Eric I would die without my washer. A 12% funding cut is pretty large. Wow you really have a lot to consider and think about. We would love to have yo here in the US. Bruce good to hear from you and at least you are getting your fair share of snow too. lol. Stay warm it is very cold where you are. It is 21 degrees here right now and we are suppose to get another 6 inches of snow tonight. Hip Hip Horay (that is being sarcastic). I have developed a cough over the last couple of days and I am stressing out about it. I am hoping and praying it is a cold or the start of one. Oh how that fear comes back. Hi Barbara, I am so sorry to hear about you new diagnosis. I wil keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Being petrified and unable to think straight is normal. I was stage 3A and now 3 1/2 years in remission and I am still petrified. You will find much support on this web site and make many friends. The people here truly understand how you are feeling for we have all gone through it and still live it. Best wishes to you. Keep us posted. Libby

I sure hope you are feeling better today then yesterday. It is currently 13 degrees, woo hoo it is warming up. Doing some more christmas shopping today and hopefully I will be done. Bud sure sounds like you had a huge temperature drop. Ann I sure hope it warms up in Florida soon. My Aunts there are not very happy with it either.
