    just to let you know

    Glad it went well.
  2. Hot Sauce...Does that count...Hot sauce, hot sauce hot sauce. I use in in omelettes, soups, somtimes on pizza, I'm a hot sauce nut.
  3. That's AWESOME...So they get an MRI as well...Everybody wins.
  4. Thanks Donna...I work here and couldn't even find that article.
  5. The winner of the MRI was Lockport Memorial Hospital. Not who we were voting for, but deserving anyway I'm sure. I haven't found any other details yet, such as where the hospital is or by how many votes they won. In addition, I have a lunch conference call that will prevent me from attending the ceremony to get any other details. If I find out more, I'll let you know.

    taking a minute

Thanks for checking in Lilly. I was just thinking we hadn't heard from you in a while. Glad your keeping busy. wishing you're DIL the best with her surgery.
  7. In my opinion...you make the best decision you can with the best available infomormation at the time the decision is necessary. It's pretty easy to play monday morning QB. I would try not to focus on it. You did all you could do, under the guidance of trained professionals. In addition, i don't believe one decision that could have gone either way would create any more troubles than going the other way. Sometimes it's the crap shoot that is cancer. Try this for this person, it works, try for another, it fails miserably. Please try not to worry too much. Praying you find comfort in the decisions that you have made.
  8. Sorry it did not work out Cat. Hoping plan B is a hit though. Hang in there.
  9. See babe, I told you everyone here is great...Thanks for posting that picture of the three of us on christmas eve with me in my Brady Quinn Jersey and completely hammered. lol. That's just what I want everyone to see. LOVE YOU!
  10. Kasey please don't take it as a reflection of me...I just thought it was funny as heck...I'm still laughing about it.
  11. This morning I received a phone call from a gorgeous > ex-girlfriend who called 'out-of-the-blue' to see if > I was still around. > > We lost track of time, chatting about the wild, romantic > times we used to enjoy together. > > I couldn't believe it when she asked if I'd be interested > in meeting up and rekindling a little of that "old magic". > > "Wow!" I was flabbergasted. > > "I don't know if I could keep pace with you now", I > said, "I'm a bit older and a bit grayer and balder than > when you last saw me. Plus I don't really have the energy > I used to have." > > She just giggled and said she was sure I would "rise > to the challenge". > > "Yeah." I said. "Just so long as you don't mind a guy > with a waistline that's a few inches wider these days! > Not to mention my total lack of muscle tone...everything > is sagging, my teeth are a bit yellowed and I am developing > jowls like a Great Dane!" > > She laughed and told me to stop being so silly. She > teased me saying that tubby, gray haired, older men > were cute, and she was sure I would still be a great > lover. > > Anyway, she giggled and said, "I've put on a few pounds > myself!" > > So I told her to shove off, and hung up.
  12. No help here either Judy...Just prayers for a quick and easy process, and a speedy recovery. Best of luck.
  13. I used to never leave home without them, mainly because all I owned were piece of junk cars. Now that mine is newer, I don't. I used to have enough stuff in my trunk to almost completely rebuild an engine on the roadside, even though I wouldn't have known how to do that. That's what they have AAA for.

I think Col's always been told not to eat.
  15. Hey everyone...Found the article below on my companies website today...Looks like Friday is the big day. I remember we were all voting for Sumter in GA. I don't know where they stand anymore, but I'm hopeful. The ceremony is at my location, and I'm going to make every attempt to get over to see it. Randy, I remember you taking this under your wing, let me know how we're doing. "Win an MRI" Contest Award Event Friday, January 25 1:30 - 2:00 p.m. Atrium III The winner of the “Win an MRI” contest will now be able to provide a new level of medical service, allowing patients in the community to receive the diagnostic imaging services they need. Many rural and community hospitals do not have a permanent, on-site MRI system – a cornerstone of diagnostic imaging technology. This means that many patients will often have to drive hours to get needed MRI services. "Win an MRI" Contest Overview Hospitals of 180 beds and under were invited to submit videos expressing why their facility deserved to win a MAGNETOM ESSENZA valued at $800,000. Siemens received 101 video entries and in just two months, the contest website received over 2.68 million video viewings and 1.4 million votes. Drink Lots of Beer

Well if that's the case (no pun intended) I should be good to go. But then again, thinking about our college days, Col could almost keep up with me, so I'm not certain I believe it. It is an interesting idea, and an excuse to drink.
  19. Thanks for the update Lilly...Still a difficult situation, will keep you all in our prayers, but you're right, THANK GOD NO CANCER.

    Need info please

Gail, Col's was found kind of by accident. An eye doctor saw an abnormality, ordered an MRI, next thing you know we're running to Jefferson because they said that she had a brain tumor. Meanwhile they're running all kinds of tests and scans and having about 50 millioin Dr.s in and out of our room. My mind moves from this is just a benign tumor to this is gonna be a whole lot worse than that. Once they removed the brain tumor and confirmed cancer of lung origin. Then they assigned us a radiology oncologist and a hematology oncologist. I should probably look up what the heck the difference is. ANyway, that's the way it went for us, kind of a whirl wind of activity. Throughout Chemo and radiation Col had any chance she wanted to move the treatments a little closer to home so as not to have to fight the Schuylkill every time she was getting treatment. But she was so comfortable with everyone there that she wanted to stay with them for everything. Fine with me, I'll drive her wherever she's comfortable, and frankly, we've had nothing but good things to say about everyone at Jefferson.
  22. Can not do it. If I absolutely have to, because it's not online, you can not get me in and out fast enough.

    New Game

Not unless Phantom of the Opera counts...Two broadway plays is about as cultured as I'm willing to get in my lifetime. Have you ever flown a plane?
  24. some days I fell like i'd erase the whole darn thing.lol. As it is...I am tempted to say the cancer chapter, but I truly believe that this chapter isn't finished yet and something good will come out of it, not sure what, but something good. I'm going to go with the high school college years. Only because I had A LOT of FUN, but knowing what I know now, I would have worked harder in High School and gone to a bigger college for undergrad and had MORE FUN.
