Hey...I just found this post. They just sprung me out of the hospital on Friday. Just got the 'puter set up on Sunday. But Life and home rehab sometimes interferes Happy to be home & here, tho!

If it's not bad enough Decadron makes me more talkative....NOW (above - 2nd post) I'm repeating myself too Tx will be Temodar this time. It doesn't work for everyone, so I'll any good thoughts that it works for ME!! That's it for now.....OH,WAIT......moving up to rehab later today

Day two: Had a brain MRI last night. The brain boogers are back They upped my 'roids and swelling went down and AND I CAN TaLK AGAIN....if hesitantly HAPPY THANKGIVING EVERYONE!

Literally AND figuritively!! Its supposed to snow 2" tomorrow....OUTSIDE. The afternoon I had some aphasia followed by intermittent mouth twiching. U/S and brain MRI....and the verdict? New brain mets. They've loaded me up Dilantin-my blood levels were low-and increased decadron........but it's infused. Cooper agrees this is just a setback. Game plan for the brain boogers tomorrow

I know here, hospital bills are higher for insured....to help cover costs for the UNININSURED. as much as 30-35%
