  4. Linda, I am so very sorry for your family's loss of your dear Aunt. I'm glad you can envision her with those she loves and free of pain and suffering, that is a wonderful way to think of her. Hugs, Sue
  5. Thanks for that beautiful message , Nick! Merry Christmas to you and yours and to all of our lcsc families. There's nothing I can add that Nick hasn't already said in his eloquent message. Love, Sue
  6. (((Michelle))), First of all , I want you to know that you are helpful to others here. You are so open and honest about your feelings and it is helpful to someone else who may be feeling the exact same way. I don't know anything about panic attacks, but I do know about suffering the loss and grief of losing a husband and soul mate. The fact that your lost your husband right here at the holidays makes it extra hard. Holidays are always hardest, I know that's how it is for me. I would, however, talk to your doctor about the panic attacks and how you are feeling because in some people certain drugs can magnify problems rather than help them. It could very well be that the meds you are taking to help may be a big part of why you are having the problems. Thinking of you Michelle. Keep in touch and know we care. Hugs, Sue
  7. Such a beautiful wish list from a man I will never forget. Dean Carl was one of the most inspirational people I've ever read. He was so in touch with what is really important in life and he communicated his feelings so well. He touched my heart and soul with his words on many occasions. Kasey, thank you for being you and for sharing this list with us , from you and Dean Carl... Merry Christmas to you Kasey and to all my family here at lcsc. Love, Sue
  8. Christina, there aren't words to express how much my heart aches for you. I am so very sorry. You are so young and your dear husband was so young to have lost his life to this horrible disease. Know that we will be here for you in the difficult days ahead. My heartfelt sympathy and condolences to your family. Hugs, Sue

((((Randy)))), while you are under the stars send her a birthday wish from me. I know how hard these days can be and I hope tomorrow won't be too hard for you. Thinking of you , dear friend. Hugs, Sue
  10. Judy, thank you for everything you do for this bunch. You certainly go out of your way to put a little sunshine in everyone's day. It has been an added bonus to have you over on facebook playing those silly games with us. Again, thanks for being you. Hugs, Sue
  11. Randy, it's members like you who make this place the special place that it is. I'm at a loss for words as I try to thank you for all that you give to all of us. All the research, as well as cyberhugs (from your caring heart), not to mention all those warm blankets from the dryer... What would we do without you. I , for one, will never be able to thank you for all the support you have given to me and my family. You are one in a million and I feel blessed to know you and call you my friend. Hugs, Sue
  12. Thanks, Dana for all you share with all family here. Hugs, Sue
  13. Awwww, Tammy, what a heartwarming story. You are a wonderful mom to share that experience with your son. I am just sure your Dad was with you. Thank you for sharing this with us. Hugs, Sue
  14. (((Beth))), it seems like it was just yesterday. So hard to believe it was 4 years ago and it was just 3 short months later that I lost Mike. Be kind to yourself today. It must be very hard to be at work... I vividly remember your posts about your wonderfully courageous , Bill. Big hugs, Sue
  15. (((Michelle), It has been 3yrs. 8 mo. since I lost my hubby, of nearly 36 years. I don't want to be discouraging , but I want you to know that even after years, you will most likely have meltdowns. Sometimes, I don't post because I haven't moved forward or done well at all without my hubby. Many others have moved on with their lives and done so much better than I have . I just want you to know that I care and I'm keeping you in my prayers. Wish, I could offer some helpful advice. Just know you are not alone in your feelings and I'm always out here with a shoulder to cry on or ears to listen when you need to find someone who understands. Hugs, Sue
  16. Kim, you have my heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your mom. Know that we will be here for you during the difficult days ahead. Hugs, Sue
  17. This is such incredibly sad news. When I read this the tears just started streaming down my face. I never met Rich personally, but so much of him will live on at this forum forever, the part of himself that he gave to all of us. He was an incredibly wonderful human being who always presented his best side and did his best to help others. My condolences to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.. I'll never forget him. Sue
  18. (((Val))), I will most certainly keep your aunt in my prayers. As for breast cancer being a "pet peeve", I don't think that is the case at all. If only we could be just as successful in getting the same recognition and support for lung cancer that there is for breast cancer, it would be wonderful. As has been said, cancer is cancer and it's all horrible. Praying for early stage and good prognosis for your aunt and sending lots of hugs your way to help you through all the sad memories you are having during this time. Hugs, Sue
