Holly, Congratulations on the birth of your baby. A new baby is such a wonderful gift , but it can be emotional time, in itself, and so full of newness and uncertainties. You have your hands full Holly. I am so sorry to hear about your mom , but I do hope that Hospice can be helpful and comforting to you and your family. As for your dog, I hope something can be done to treat her . My advice to you is to accept all the help that is offered to you. You have just to much to handle alone. Hi there Bunny, I was just thinking that it was about time for an update on Suki. Both of you have had a long hard year. It's not any surprise that you are worn out. Hope you know that prayers are coming your way. Praying for Suki to do well with her new plan and that her eyesight will improve. It's 12-27 and Mike is doing better. He is tired and rests a lot, but is coughing very little now and is eating pretty good. I find it amazing that someone can get a stent put in their trachea and their esopahgus and not feel either one of them.. He says he doesn't know they are there. He can breathe better and we are working on his food diet to add more tasty foods. We aren't actually pureeing his food, but mashing the heck out of it and making sure it's small and moist. So far, so good. I just want to thank everyone for their love, good wishes and prayers. Love, Sue

I would like to welcome you to our site. As for the neuropathy, Mike has taken the B vitamins mentioned. It seemed to help somewhat , but his is more of a numbing or tingling in the fingertips and toes. As he has gotten away from the treatments that caused them it has become better. Hope that you will fill in your profile and post more about yourself so that we will be better able to help you. sue

(((Pam))), I'm so happy you decided to post here and join us. I want everyone to know how blessed Mike and I are to have you for a friend and neighbor. We've known Pam for about 14 years and she and Mike had their pneumonectomies at close to the same time, by the same surgeon. I can't begin to tell you what a beautiful person Pam is, but I feel sure you will soon learn that for yourselves. She is truly special and an angel to Mike and I . Oh, and Pam, that little remark about looking at what "the cat dragged in" that my dear friend Cindi o'h made, I want you to know that Cindi aimed that at me cause she loves me (right Cindi?) not cause you are scruffy lol. Cindi you owe me a drink in the pub for that one. hehe Anyhow, I'm so happy you are here Pam and I know you will soon know how wonderfully caring and special this group is. Love ya, Sue
