Ginny, Congrats on 3,000 posts. I joined this site not long before you lost "the Duke"..My heart went out to you then. You had my respect, admiration and love from the first time I read your posts. Ralph, Your positive attitude and prayer will go far. You will be fine. I predict you will do well with the chemo. If it affects you like it did my hubby, you will be a little tired and maybe a little achey in a few days, your hair may start to fall out in two weeks, but overall it won't be too hard. Keep up the great attitude. Sue

Lorrie, Many people experience changes in blood during chemo, but the shots given to build red and white blood cells usually a do a great job. I would opt for the last treatment of chemo. My husband elected not to take the chemo after his surgery and had a recurrence 3 years later. We don't know if chemo might have kept this from happening or not. I only know that it makes sense to do everything you can to try to prevent a recurrence. Sue

Cindi , Is that a low salt Bloody Mary ? This is one of your armchair doctors chiming in here. I think you should leave those Bloody Mary's for me. You really struck a nerve with that one.
