  4. (((Jen))), The loss of our loved ones affects each of us in a different way. From a wife's point of view, I can relate to your mom. It has been nearly a year and a half and I am just now beginning to move some of Mike's things. For me, it is a very slow and still very painful process. It just takes time. Prayers for you and your family , Jen. Luv, Sue

  16. Ann, Another version of instructions, I have seen for this illusion, tells you after staring for 30 seconds to simply close your eyes and tilt your head back... it is amazing. I agree the best illusion. Sue
  17. Nick, A baby on the way.. woo hoo.. such wonderful news. I liked Teri's idea of making up a little book all about grandma, something you could save to give your child one day. It would be very therapeutic for you and sure to be a special gift when the time is right. I believe you mom does know. Sue
  18. Leslie, Glad the pain is subsiding. My thoughts and prayers will be with you for Good scan results. Sue
  19. Ralph, Mike had a bad time with Alimta also. He remained stable for a while, but the downside was severe fatigue and development of shortness of breath and pneumonitis. Gosh, I hate reporting negative news about a drug, but then again, I feel people have a right to know what reactions people can have. God Bless, Sue

    Alimta

Alimta kept hubby stable for a while, but it caused extreme fatigue and breathing issues. He developed pneumonitis while on it. Several have had from mild to extreme issues with breathing and lung infammation with Alimta... be aware of any increase in SOB and report it to the doctor immediately. Best of luck. It has been helpful to many.
