Ann Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Would you rather go on a camping vacation in the great outdoors or vacation at a spa resort??? Quote
Don Wood Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 I am definitely not a camper. My idea of camping is Motel 6. Spa wins, hands down. Don Quote
Linda661 Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Camping in the great outdoors, definitely. And I don't count RV parks as camping either -- give me a good tent (nothing worse than a leaky, stuffy tent that's poorly made ), a nice fire pit, a gorgeous spot near water with great views, and some good trails around to explore, any day. Of course, some great people company to go with is really nice for long chats at dusk around the fire. Linda Quote
cindi o'h Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 at a spa resort with a view and smell of the great outdoors. feather bed, cucumber facials, organically tasty meals, massages, and someone paddling my canoe. Cindi o'h Quote
luvmydog2 Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 I'll most definatly take the camping. Nothing like sleeping on the ground and listen to the rain. Quote
Nancy B Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Definitely a spa, my idea of roughing it is room service. I think I like Cindi's spa, sounds wonderful. Quote
purplelady47 Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 My son & I camp regularly - about once a month. So I am with Cindi, at the spa...... Maybe she can get us a group rate??? Pam in FL Quote
Debi Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 Okay, I'm with the room service group. I can appreciate the idea of camping, but it ends there. Quote
Snowflake Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 Ah yes, the lure of nature: skeeters, poison ivy, critters with big and sharp teeth, spiders, dirt, rain and being soaked beyond the underwear... I'm off to the spa! I'd rather have a massage and pampering than itchin' and scratchin'! Ugh... That wasn't real tough, Annie! Quote
tnmynatt Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 Spa, definitely! I have quite a girl scout camping story I could tell...the snow was cold. Quote
dchurchi Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 a number of years back I would be camping. Not so much now. after the last 2 weeks I have had the stress level of Alan's test, So me the spa!!!!! Quote
