recce101 Posted December 6, 2006 Share Posted December 6, 2006 Hi, everyone: Received the results of my 11/28 CT scan, done after my third Carboplatin/Taxol/Avastin treatment and compared with an 8/16 scan. In a nutshell: condition stable or improving, existing lesions smaller, no new lesions! Since almost half of the 104-day interval between the two CT scans passed before treatment began (on 10/3), if the cancer had progressed further during that no-treatment/no-scan 48-day period, improvement was actually better than the modest results reported. While this will likely be a bumpy roller coaster ride like most others have experienced, I'm happy that we're at least starting off in the right direction, or in pilot talk, that up to this point most of the G's have been positive!
