Andrea B. Posted October 17, 2003 Share Posted October 17, 2003 Well, I am happy to report that my mom's bone scan came back clear. Her oncologist says he can't be 100 percent sure without doing a biopsy. But he feels what caused the fracture in her back was osteoperosis, not cancer. From what he can see on the bone and CT scan he thinks it is not cancer. We will be keeping an eye on it and if any pain increases in the next few weeks, then they will do a biopsy. Thank God for answering prayers!!! This has been a difficult week for my mom, so I am so happy for her to get some good news and hopefully soon some relief. Thank you so much to everyone here for your support and love. This sees me through difficult days and brings me much comfort. Blessings to each and everyone of you. I continue to pray for a CURE!! I, along with you, am praying for that cure. I hope they find a way to provide her with relief from her pain, but am so glad its not cancer, I reallly am!!!
