J.C.
Good morning all, Grateful for the good news I read on the forums, beautiful way to finish a year and such a nice way to start a new one. Happy Year 2008. Now just a few lines from My Shepherd will Supply My need. (Isaac Watts) My Shepherd will supply my need, The God of love supreme; In pastures green You make me feed, Beside the living stream. The sure provisions of my God Attend me all my days; Oh, may Your house be my abode, And all my work be praised! There would I find a settle rest, While others go and come; No more a stranger nor a guest, But like a child at home. For me this is a Home Sweet Home to live in Have a good day. Patkid
Grateful for wonderful neighbors who moved snow for me. We got 7.5 inches and I had lots of help. God bless them. Pat
Welthy
Ditto Patkid's gratitude. My wonderful next-door neighbor makes sure my driveway is always clean after a snowfall. (I thought about you Pat when I saw the snowfall totals for Rockford! Heavy stuff too!)
kamataca
Grateful that my daughter has learned the importance of being there for others. One of her classmate's father died Christmas Eve, and we are going to the funeral today. She didn't even flinch--knew going and supporting was the right thing to do. Grateful for a church and school community that jumps to help and comfort those who need it most. Grateful that my DH's father is here, and the boys are all doing some bonding over hunting again today (the animals are typically safe when the boys are in the woods, but the guys have a good time). Barbb
So grateful my daughter, Lacy, is here for the weekend. We had a nice dinner, shopped a bit and talked about Rod. Jeff could use some prayers, he's not doing so well this week, sad, depressed. Barb
