Tim's Cancer is Back

It looks like Tim's cancer is back and it's in the mediastinum area. The CT shows areas that are not well defined, but they're sure that it's tumor activity. The chemo Tim was on really brought him down and he had to have blood transfussions after each round. He's lost weight (and can't afford to-129 lbs) and has a lot of fatigue.

We started Iressa today and we hope that is will work without too many side effects. He doesn't have much strength, so there's not much reserve.

This is such awful news and we have been lucky so far, so maybe our luck will hold. I was just reading some to the post about Iressa and it sounds like so doctors are saying it works well, when it works.

I'm pretty down in the dumps. We just found out yesterday, so I have trouble even talking about it with family and friends. I hope he can be well enough to take a trip to Southern CA to visit our family.

I haven't been writing on the boards much lately, but I do keep up with everybody. I pray for all of us everyday.
