a lot of the fear kinda goes away when a treatment plan is introduced because then you start to feel and realize your fighting the disease and accomplishing something to be done about getting rid of this disease.. so til then get all the tears and negativity out of the systems..

a lot of our Members have outlived their doctors prediction on how long they have sop please pay no attenuation tot hat part of a conversation and yes go get a new Oncologist as soon as possible... you need one that will fight for you and not give up .. Take a look through the good news Forum here and also the inspirational forum for some great up lifting info and stories of hope and inspiration.... ask lots of questions and give us all the details .. we are always around even if you do not see us here for some reason... I got to go with Katie on the horse .. No room and my 90 pound shephard would die of curiosity a first... she still can not figure out the deer we have roaming around out back and I live in the suburbs... Tarceva has been a blessing for so many people here.. My wife was on it in the very early stages of its being available to the public and so much has changed over the years... Glad your doing as ok as you can be doing and not letting this thing Lung Cancer beat you up..... Keep up the spirits and the posting with us.. lots of info in other forums to read also..

welcome aboard sad to say but glad to say... My wife had great success with Tarceva fora long time and it was a godsend when she was on it ... No hospitals or anything....Just had to get over the initial sticker shock of a 200 dollar prescription first time she used it then the insurance picked it up but that was also years ago so..... Sounds like your doing all the right things and staying active and living life on your terms and that is great.... sorry bout setbacks but glad your beating them also... Many of our member have had success with Tarceva also....
