Wow! I am impressed with the "second-opinion" onc Kate! PLEASE don't blame yourself, you didn't know, (at that time,) what you know now. There are so many "Shouda, Woulda, Coulda's" in this roller coaster ride, we just can't look back.
Love and prayers.

Dear Marge,
My heart goes out to you, how terribly sad for you and your sister and family. I think I have an inkling of what you must be going through. My husband has had two strokes, one massive one before cancer which paralysed him on the left side, and one mild one recently . When the second one hit, he was unable to speak for about ten minutes and I remember the fear I felt, thinking that it might be permanent. I wish I could come and give you a big hug. Instead I will send heartfelt prayers for a miracle for your sister. Lots of love, Paddy.

My mouth was open too Deb! I think another oncologist is required ASAP. Don't let them destroy your hope. Prayers, Paddy

Hi Beth,
So sorry you had this mysterious reaction. My husband was taken off taxotere, it really did a number on him....but not the way you describe!
Everyone seems to have different reactions to the various chemo's. Paddy

Oncodoc,
Yes, you are so very welcome. It is so kind of you to take time out of your busy life to join us here. Thank You for joining. Paddy

Sending positive thoughts to Kathy and Rich for good results from your respective treatments. My husband was fine with his first chemo but the "Taxotere" wasn't too good. He certainly didn't experience any nausia with either chemo. Good Luck to you both. Paddy
