Heather_T
I went out to get Valentine cards for the girls and hubby last night. I went to look for them tonight and can not remember for the life of me where they went. I have looked all over the house and in the trash, it was to nasty to go through. I know my brain is mush but you would think I would remember what I did with something the night before. Anyways thought it was a good laugh Now I have nothing to give hubby. recce101
Heather: Write him a note on brightly colored paper expanding on the above, and include something interesting you found in the trash. He'll treasure that more than any store-bought card! Aloha, Ned

missyk
Hahahaha...I LOVE Ned's idea! I've done something similar in years past and usually end up finding what I bought about 4 months later, swear I'm going to "save it" for the next Valentines Day, and forget where I put it again!! Have a wonderful day!
Kasey
Hey Heather..........not that I am GLAD you can't find your cards ~ I'm just glad to know I am not the only one this happens to And lately it's happening a LOT! ernrol
Don't worry, I find cards that are years old that I missplaced. Look at the bright side when you find them next week, you'll be a year early for next year. Stay positive, Ernie
Welthy
Heather, They are probably still on the check-out counter at the store! Been there, done that. I'm with Kasey, thanks also for making me feel like I'm not the only one. Welthy (Debi)
Ry
If you're sure they're in the house you could do a scavenger hunt-- find your Valentine gift. Just remember not to ask where they found it.
ztweb
No worries! I remember when my mom was certain she had received a check from medicare, and it was for $4000. She turned the house upside down, shed many, many tears, and had arguments with dad, only to find out that they had never issued the check!!! She dreamt it! Nick C
My mother, not Catholic BTW, would tsay to me, Pray to St Anthony. Do it...I would lose stuff, I would refuse to pray to St Anthony, I would find it, and Mom would tell me she prayed to St Anthony. I don't know how I feel about it to tell you the truth, but it's a Mom saying, and I read your note and heard her voice say it.
recce101
Hi, Heather! Glad it all worked out. This morning I told my wife about your predicament and my suggestion, and she thought the homegrown card was a good idea but the "something interesting" out of the trash was a bit over the top. So if you didn't do that part, it's probably just as well. I would have thought it cute and put it in my "keeper" box, but I've heard that not everyone is like me... Standing by eagerly for your next predicament with much Aloha, Ned
carolhg
Wait till you find some MONEY in a jacket pocket or purse that you forgot about. Now that is some real fun and makes up for the other stuff we lose. Be kind to yourself! Carol
