I guess I have joined this site to speak with people who are feeling the same way I am. I am looking for stories of hope but also I want to know what I should expect from this ugly disease. Quote

Large cell is not that common (at least on this board I rarely see it) so you may not find many members that can give you information. My MIL had large cell but elected to only have radiation due to her age. She did well with that for about 2 years and died at age 86 from a stroke. But I do know that LC is not a death sentence. There are so many treatments availailable now of days. If one does not work they will try another.
