Normally, Lucie has a few days of okayness and then the chemo hits. So don't jump the gun too soon. Also, as she progressed in the treatment, the side effects increased. Don
Rachel, glad to hear your husband's bypass surgery went well. I am a 7-year survivor of quadruple bypass surgery myself -- so there is much life after that. I have had no trouble after healing. Blessings. Don
Frank, it reminds me of the difference between men and women in shopping. Same deal.
Nell, I do all those things you listed, and I did it before the cancer thing.
Thanks for all the support and good wishes, folks. We are very appreciative. We saw the pulmonologist this week and he said everything was fine -- see you in January! We saw the neurologist and he said everything looked good -- see you in April!!! We love the sound of that. We will see the oncologist in a couple of weeks. I am bringing the CT scan and X-ray that the pulmonologist ordered to the onc tomorrow. Blessings! Don
Congratulations to our own Rochelle, who has reached the 2000 mark in her postings. Ry, you have been there from the beginning, supporting us all, making us laugh, and, of course, keeping us in line! Give yourself a hall pass and celebrate! We DO appreciate YOU! Thanks a bunch. Don
Your mom is definitely depressed. You are doing what you need to do by encouraging her to be active and focused on things. Sorry it is a difficult time for you all. The chemo timing varies with the onc and the patient, so her onc needs to answer your question. Praying things take a good turn. Don
