    Update

Francine, thanks for your update. Sounds like more good news than bad. If you are having spinal pain, perhaps you should stay on your pain managment. Lucie is still on morphine because of that. Take care and have a great Easter. Don

    2 years!

    Congratulations! Inspirational!
  16. Debbie, my heart aches for you. I'm glad you came on and vented about this. I am shocked at the Hospice treatment -- not what we experienced on three different occasions. You don't need further aggrevation -- you need relief. I agree that you call and get this situation strengthened out for yourself and for Chris. Don
  17. Actually, Stephanie, you CAN write your mom and tell her all about your trip. You will actually feel the sharing as you write. I lost both my parents when I was in my early 20's. When I started having kids of my own, I became sad and, with a friend's help, realized I was sad because I couldn't share my kids with theml My wise friend told me to write a letter to them and tell them all about my kids. It worked! I actually could feel the sharing, and it helped me get through the pain. Try to enjoy your time in Denmark. Don
  18. There is nothing wrong with you wanting your mom's suffering to end. That is very normal, and very human. You love her deeply and don't want her to suffer. I am sorry you have to go through this, but I know you have the strength to do so. My prayers are with you all. Don
  19. Peggy, thanks for letting us know. My prayers are with Peg and Bill. Don
  20. Welcome, BJ! Sounds good so far. Don
