Val,
I am so sad for you and only wish we could run over to babysit or hug or just make coffee...........
On top of all you described you miss your husband........it is too much..........you are doing fine.
Your mom knows how much you love her
Your dad, too and even your aunt..........people just are still and always going to be who they are (loving, flawed, and wonderful and irksome) no matter what is going on around them.
The situations change, but people are who and how they are.
That is okay.
Just hug Carolyn and hang on your husbands emails and know that God has you firmly in His plan.
Lots of love

Becky,
We will miss your clear rational thinking and your consistent support.
Please know we are willing to try to help if you can think of anything we could do.
Please try to be gone only a short time, but get renewed and refreshed and take care of yourself.
You are very important to us.
Love

Connie,
Yahweh: Hebrew word from the old testament for God.
Literal Translation: I AM.
I like to know God's Name.
I like that he is a BIG God
I NEED a BIG God.
-
Billie,
Our prayer is that your family find the peace your father now enjoys and understands fully.
Love and support and sympathies,
Pat and Brian

Consistent and fervent prayer being lifted up, Rachel.
NO BIG DEAL, Yahweh,

And all God's people said: "AMEN".

When my husband, Tom, died in 1993, a wonderful confidant assured me that grief lingered because I was not just mourning MEMORIES, but
I was mourning UNLIVED TOMORROWS.
That helped me.
Nancy, I hope it helps you, too. I am so sorry for all the unlived tomorrows.
Lots of love and hugs

Mike, thanks for the great news.
It IS hard to live in 3 month increments, but you are really getting the hang of it.
Never ever grow up!

Okay,
we are beginning the pre-surgical prayer vigil.
Beth, you are doing a super job with this whole thing. I agree w/ Cindi.........your mom has certainly passed her good 'takin' care of business ' genes on to you.

hmmmm
we have no experience w/ any surgical interventions relative to lung cancer so will leave comments on that to the experienced members.
I would like to suggest that what may be pushing up toward her throat is her wonderful loving heart. You see it has swollen with all the love and extra special feelings she has for her loving daughter and son who have helped her through surgery and waiting for results.
I hope that is all it is and that it continues to cause no pain.
Lots of love,
Pat

Us, too,
We are in Rockford...............just keep us posted.

Cindi,
Love it
Love it
Love it............
You are exactly as sweet and gorgeous as we always imagine you to be.
Be careful bartending in that outfit, though.
