    Wig Donations

I had a wig mom had purchased and never had to wear it. I called the cancer center at the hospital and they gladly took it.
  4. Decadron, a steroid mom was on, made her really amped up...is he taking decdron? Often antideepressents take some timme to take hold in ones system...so maybe give a little time on that.
  5. Mike, I'm so sorry. I can really sense your pain...we're here and I know there are folks who have walked your walk here.

  10. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! Awesome!
  11. I saw your post previously in the other forum and responded there, but it is clear you are still hurting. It is hard, one of the hardest things you'll ever deal with. We understand.
  12. No joke indeed! I'm sure he is very missed.
  13. X-rays aren't the best indicator, but any abnormal result says you HAVE to do further tests. Hopefully the doc feels the same way. I'm no doctor, but I would be encouraged to hear the next step is a spiral CT scan. The scan will give a clearer image and doctors can often with greater reliability say "looks like" or "doesn't look like" let's do/not do more digging. Please keep us informed of what the next step is, but my thought is hopefully a spiral CT for greater discernment.
  14. Number 1, Dakoda is catching up to Jayla very fast, and number 2, it looks like it was a wonderful celebration!

    Hello

Hi Peggy, thanks for the update. Good to "see" you
  16. Aubree, You can't "hate yourself". I understand anger, but none of us inflicted this disease on our loved ones. Please don't beat yourself up. Every one of us wishes we had spent more time, been there, done more etc. But that isn't because we didn't do enough, it's because we grieve the fact that we can't do these things now. There are plenty of people who understand the loss you feel. And this really just happened. It is hard. take it easy on yourself. We'll be here.
  17. I am very sorry I missed this. My deepest sympathies to you and your dad.

    The 17th

The winter after mom was gone, I would see cardinals out in the winter and I would just stare and they would just sit there and not move...I always thought "mom". Anger is normal. My mom got 30 days which just wasn't enough time and never met her granddaughter...I know pissed off and angry. It's OK. Many here have had signs...they aren't you reaching for them, they are real!
  19. Holy !@#$ I am in awe. Your dad is my hero. He loved you so and made sure you knew. I want to be a tenth that amazing of a dad.
  20. I'm really sorry...you don't need to put it into words, we get it. So very sorry.
  21. Ann, sorry I missed this. I hope the day brought you some thoughts of fond memories.
  22. Often, because peopel only find out about Lung Cancer when there are complications, there can be a lot of things going on and it is hard to straighten out. Doctors will also sometimes tell you different things depending on what they do...which can add to the, lack of a better term, chaos. And yes, it is all consuming at first...I'm sure many here can relate. hang in there.
  23. You don't sound like a drama queen, this disease has caused many here to shed many tears. Sorry this is the latest.
