  1. How about just a letter telling her how much you appreciate what she has done and to tell her how much you care for her. That is something she could keep forever. And then maybe a nice dinner or gift card. Pamela
  2. Fay, So happy to see you post. More prayers coming your way. Pamela
  3. Cindi I am glad you have found such a good friend in Jackie. Good friends are hard to find. I think the cruise is a great idea. The fur bikini's sound like they would be perfect. Pamela

  11. Hi guys, Talked with Cindi again this afternoon and she sounded great and happy. They hopefully will remove her drains on Saturday and then maybe let her go home. She really likes her doctor and says he is cute. She said that she felt great and misses everyone. She also wanted someone to open the pub and have a drink for her but to remember to clean up. I will check on her again tomorrow or Saturday Pamela Leslie, Cindi said to tell you it was her talking yesterday not the drugs.
  12. Hey Guys, Just talked to Cindi in the hospital. She was a little out of it(pain meds). She was having a hard time waking up but she told me that everything went well and that she was NED . I told her I would wait and call her again tomorrow to see how she was doing. I'll let you know what she has to say and how she is doing. Pamela
  13. That's a good one. I need to send that to my nephew who is in the Navy and on a ship. Hopefully they won't block the e-mail. Pamela
  14. Dixie, I have tried and tried to think of what to say to you that would make you understand what everyone is trying to tell you but I don't believe anyone can help you but you. I don't smoke and never have. I have lost several family members to cancer. My Mom to lung cancer, my Dad to angiosarcoma, my Uncle to cancer all through his body (Vietnam vet) and my cousin in his 20's to bone cancer. They all smoked and I was there for all of them with unconditional love. I never said anything to them about their smoking because it didn't matter they didn't deserve cancer because they smoked. You need to get help, grow up and learn to have unconditional love for your family member before it is too late. Life is too short and I hope the last memory you have isn't b****ing about his smoking. Pamela
  15. Hey Cinnnnndi!!! Great news! Hope you are still partying so I can join. I'll stand because I'm so short if I fall it won't hurt me. Love ya, Pamela
  16. Cindi doesn't feel up to posting right now so she asked me to fill you in. She didn't get good news: "Had another pet/ct this morning with a standardized uptake value (suv). Anyway. Looks like the cancer has multiple clusters on my R lung...adjacent to the primary tumor site, and also in the bony synthesis at T10. The doctor says it is up to her whether she does chemo or not. But he won't do the chemo without a biopsy and she says the biopsy is a high-risk surgery. She said she has lost her mojo and when she bounces back she will post. I hope she bounces back real soon because I miss her. Pamela
  17. A very large woman and her husband were shopping for a new car. The husband wanted a big sturdy truck and the woman wanted a super fast sports car. They looked and looked but never came to an agreement. The woman's birthday was to be in a few days, so she gave her husband an ultimatium. She said "for my birthday you had better get me something that will go from zero to 200 just like that" and snaps her fingers. The husband thought a moment and responded, "ok, I can handle that". So for her birthday her husband bought her....a bathroom scale....Needless to say he has not been heard from since....
