Hi Carol Ann I guess I am a 1 1/2 lunger. I had my upper left lobe removed in September 2007 and also followed that with chemo. So will be soon celebrating my first anniversary. Welcome to this great site. I have gotten a wealth of information from members here that has helped me make educated decisions. The support and encouragement you receive here is just unbelievable.

Hi Linda Welcome to a great site. Members here have alot of knowledge and experience and are more than happy to answer your questions. You will find everyone here very supportive. I understand your daughter wanting her Dad to walk her down the aisle in October. I was diagnosed last September and had a lobectomy. My oldest daughter got married this June and I was there to walk her down the aisle. I'm sure Jim will have that same great privilege in October.

Well in that case Patti, I think we better take the slide out. Do you think Bueeyes was trying to get us out of there so she could take over the Ark ? LOL Weekend was great. There were 2 deer hanging around my house all weekend. I think they were trying to get on the Ark first.

Congratulations Jeannie and Jim!!!! That is great news to hear. Having faith and not believing statistics certainly proved itself in Jim's case. Take care and keep us updated.

Hi Net Welcome to this site. I have had a few decisions to make during my journey and always found this a great place to get answers to help me make those decisions. You will find the members here very knowledgeable and also very supportive. Their answers are from personal experiences and not just some statistic. I'm sure other's will be along and provide their comments to your questions. I am also from Canada as well as a few other members here. I think one was originally from Regina.

Hey Judy. Not sure if my answer will help you. I had a lobectomy (ULL ) last September. Then I had 4 rounds of Adjuvant Chemo beginning in December and finished in March. Been NED since Lobectomy. I was stage 1b.
