I wish your mom the very best of luck. I really understand that your post means that you are concerned that your mom is very worried about her upcoming appointment and may be developing stress symtoms? Sometimes that happens but please be very careful never to imply that her symptoms are in her mind. So many of us end up keeping little developments to ourselves for fear that we are becoming complainers or overworriers. I know you are being reassuring, but it could be the cold weather, or a bug, or anything... but it may be best not to give her the impression you think her symptoms are in her head. The medical community does enough of that. I mean this in the best possible way. I want to make sure she does not hesitate to tell the doctors all new symptoms.

I am adding in my two cents about the Tarceva... I hope you get some positive answers. I know many have found that the EFGRs help a lot.... I have found great luck with the Iressa. Keep us posted. Lisa

We always spend Christmas eve with the same friends and their family. Christmas day we make a turkey dinner with all the trimmings and anyone is welcome to stop by. My husband and I also volunteer at a shelter. He is Santa and I am Mrs. Clause. We hand out the presents and entertain the children.

Becky, Fay and all.... the cooperation and support on this board moves me to tears. I obviously have nothing to offer to make it any easier that it rained but we have all grown used to things stopping us when it seems most frustrating. We know Fay will make sure the message gets out. There seems to be a bigger message here of a spirit that won't be crushed. I truly love you all.

Hebbie, I have not read the rest of the thread... I am just staring at the screen trying to find some words to offer comfort for you. I will send so many prayers your way. Please consider additional opinions asap if you are at all uncomfortable with what you are hearing. I am here for you.
