  14. Ooh, such creative costumes! *Sneeze* I might be allergic to Addie! O.K., I was short on time, and I only had this sandwich board and a marker - so I write on my board....you guys are all going to like me here...On the front it says, "I Be After 8? What am I?" And on the back, "Be Nine!" Benign wants to be all of your friends so pass the vodka Frank and Addie and throw in a splash of lemonade Cindi and let's kick this party up another notch! ***I tried to be fancy with color and really made a mess of things - so I edited this poor ol' post to death***

    Life in Palm Bay/OT

I'm not sure if my sanity will hold out with another crazy hurrican eseason - And what we experienced was NOTHING compared to your area. I firmly realized after a couple of weeks with no power that I was NOT a camper and that I did NOT like roughing it *grin* - especially with 95 degree heat, 95%+ humidity , mold and bugs everywhere. I told my husband that this time we would just go to a hotel and he laughed, his evil little laugh, and reminded me that last time there was no room at any of the inns I'm going to have to work out a better exit strategy this year and I'll take you with me!

    Life in Palm Bay/OT

Ann, when I saw the news the other day, I thought of you! For those of you not from Central Florida, Ann's not kidding about the Palm Bay area being just a small area. It's unbelievable that Mother Nature has slammed it over and over in such a short period of time. I guess statistically speaking, Ann, if has to let up now for a good long while???? but I bet you thought that after hurricane #2 and before hurricane #3 and the recent tornado. S.O.S.! Give Palm Bay and Ann a break somebody! Gina, in a much calmer Lake Mary Florida

  23. O.K., I'll take a freshly picked (by a child) bouquet of whatever flowers you have growing out back and 1 piece (due to expanding waist) of Godiva dark chocolate with the key-lime filling *yummmm* This is a very nice establishment you have here, Cindi
  24. Anyone who has ever dressed a child will love this one! Did you hear about the Texas teacher who was helping one of her kindergarten students put on his cowboy boots? He asked for help and she could see why. Even with her pulling and him pushing, the little boots still didn't want to go on. Finally, when the second boot was on, she had worked up a sweat. She almost cried when the little boy said, "Teacher, they're on the wrong feet, " She looked and sure enough, they were. It wasn't any easier pulling the boots off than it was putting them on. She managed to keep her cool as together they worked to get the boots back on -- this time on the right feet. He then announced, "These aren't my boots." She bit her tongue rather than get right in his face and scream, "Why didn't you say so?" like she wanted to. And, once again she struggled to help him pull the ill-fitting boots off his little feet. No sooner they got the boots off and he said, "They're my brother's boots. My Mom made me wear 'em." Now she didn't know if she should laugh or cry. But, she mustered up the grace and courage she had left to wrestle the boots on his feet again. Helping him into his coat, she asked, "Now, where are your mittens?" He said, "I stuffed 'em in the toes of my boots." When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila and salt!
