Fay A.
One of those that lets me read and post when I am able to do so. Ry, can you give me the "Bah-Humbug" pass... the one that looks like a cross between a beetle and a modern day cell phone. If you give me the Bah-Humbug I can control it. That way no one else will come under it's negative influence.
Hebbie
Fay, I'm sure Ry will grant you your part-time hall pass, but I wanted to say that I will miss your full-time presence around here! I don't post much myself these days, but check in almost every day to see how everyone is doing -- and your post are usually one of the first I go to! I also wanted to mention that I heard a song "Fighter" the other day by Christina Aguilera. Out of the blue, while listening to the song, YOU popped into my head! I am posting the lyrics here -- some are not relevent, but overall, I imagine the song as an ode to kicking cancer's butt and I want you to remember that we all view you as a true FIGHTER -- I admire the h*ll out of you! "Fighter" (Christina Aguilera) After all you put me through You'd think I'd despise you But in the end I want to thank you Because you made me that much stronger When I, thought I knew you Thinking, that you were true I guess I, I couldn't trust Called your bluff, time is up 'Cause I've had enough You were, there by my side Always, down for the ride But your, joy ride just came down in flames 'Cause your greed sold me out of shame, mmhmm After all of the stealing and cheating You probably think that I hold resentment for you But, uh uh, oh no, you're wrong 'Cause if it wasn't for all that you tried to do I wanna know just how capable I am to pull through So I wanna say thank you 'Cause it makes me that much stronger Makes me work a little bit harder It makes me that much wiser So thanks for making me a fighter Made me learn a little bit faster Made my skin a little bit thicker Makes me that much smarter So thanks for making me a fighter Ohh, ohh, ohh, ohhhh, ohh-yeah ah uhhhuh Never, saw it coming All of, your backstabbing Just so, you could cash in On a good thing before I realized your game I heard, you're going around Playing the victim now But don't, even begin Feeling I'm the one to blame 'Cause you dug your own grave After all of the fights and the lies Yes you wanted to harm me but that won't work anymore Uh, no more, oh no, it's over 'Cause if it wasn't for all of your torture I wouldn't know how to be this way now, and never back down So I wanna say thank you 'Cause it makes me that much stronger Makes me work a little bit harder Makes me that much wiser So thanks for making me a fighter Made me learn a little bit faster Made my skin a little bit thicker It makes me that much smarter So thanks for making me a fighter How could this man I thought I knew Turn out to be unjust so cruel Could only see the good in you Pretended not to see the truth You tried to hide your lies, disguise yourself Through living in dnial But in the end you'll see YOU-WON'T-STOP-ME I am a fighter and I I ain't goin' stop There is no turning back I've had enough 'Cause it makes me that much stronger Makes me work a little bit harder Makes me that much wiser So thanks for making me a fighter Made me learn a little bit faster Made my skin a little bit thicker It makes me that much smarter So thanks for making me a fighter
stand4hope
Fay, That was quite a nice song from Hebbie. I don't have anything that eloquent, but I was recently reminded of my cheerleading days in high school, so all I have to offer is a cheer: Go, Fay, Go! Fight, Fay, Fight! WIN, FAY, WIN!!! I'll be missing you! Love, Peggy

Ry
Well I guess Santa can make a Bah Humbug pass. Ok Fay...it's all yours. Hope you are decorating your Martha Stewart fireplace mantle for Christmas. Maybe in your spare time you might consider helping me break her out of jail??? I'm thinking road trip.... Addie
On the off chance that Ry cannot find the Bah Humbug pass...might I offer up a pass modeled after my hubby's favorite yuletide greeting? That would be the "Ho, Ho, Ho....sh*t" pass!! Do try to pop in occasionally, Fay...cuz you never know when someone might roll out the big punch bowl of Wassail or a big jug of Aunt Idy's eggnog. You don't wanna miss out on that, do you? I figure a couple of glasses of something or other, a blonde wig and David C....and we got ourselves a party! Snowflake
YES FAY! Let's get into the holiday spiritS!! I LOVE the way Addie thinks! PAR-TY, PAR-TY, PAR-TY....(Today's tip: Beware of cross-dressing bald men in blonde wigs doing table dances...)
NellW
Hi Fay, You bring grit to us when we need it the most, so what Becky said, party with us, but the cross dressing.. well heck, it could be a new tradition around here!! Ok David.. on the table! Love you Fay, sending a prayer. Nell
Angie Daughter of Bill
Look what you have started up around here?? Cross-dressing David C...............they want to put him on tables to dance!!!! Please cheer up Fay........these guys have no boundries for cheering you up. Seriously, I DO hope that you are feeling better soon. If I can do anything for you, please give me a call. I think I gave you my phone number. If not, let me know. I will send it to you! O.K.???? No need to be bah-humbug alone. In my thoughts and prayers~~~ Angie
Ry
I wonder if David C knows how much fun he could be having over here in this forum.
Fay A.
Hi, I think some have misunderstood my intent by requesting the official Bah-Humbug pass...There is no way I will fall under any of the Bah-Humbug's many spheres of influence. I requested the pass with the hopes that if I keep the Bah-Humbug buried at the bottom of my sock drawer it won't be able to affect those who might be susceptible to it's negativity during what I like to call The Joyful Season. And thank you to all who suggested a party. I like that idea, and have decided to create a party-of-one each and every day if I can't get anyone else to attend. (I'm typing a lot because my shoulder has eased up just a little bit this morning. Not sure how long it will last, though. My hand starts to get ice cold and then I have to stop.)
